"The most challenging aspect of life is to find a journey worthy of your heart and soul. I have found my calling and I have never felt as empowered as I do right now, living my dream while encouraging other women to grab the bull by the horns and fulfill their wildest dreams too!"

Kelly's 2008 New Year's resolution was to run a marathon. The day before, she picked up her race bib at the expo and was in dire need of some funky sports attire that could also store her gear. She could not find anything.

Although she had an awesome race day and has since become an avid runner, Kelly admits that she did not feel the way she wanted to feel -- she lacked the surge of confidence she experiences when dressing fashionably. It was from that experience that the idea for Body Rock Sports was born.

Her goal was to launch within one year. She wanted to offer women like herself -- who love both fitness and fashion -- a luxurious collection of sports attire -- that they could wear from day-to-night, that could serve as "double duty" clothing. A collection for women who like to work hard and play hard and who love to push the envelope just a little bit.

On January 12, 2010, BodyRockSport.com went live. Kelly's first collection included 12 pieces, all named after different women in her life who had inspired her in some way. Her business has grown a lot since then, adding new products and working with some amazing individuals in fashion, music and Hollywood; providing women with confidence building options that the other sports apparel manufacturers simply are not producing.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
