Jeanne Devos ICM brings people and cultures together to create a peaceable community of young people in India. She has lived in India since 1963. She is a homescience graduate and an ortho-psychologist and accupedist by profession. Jeanne studied the issues and concerns of domestic workers. In 1985 she started the Domestic Workers Movement with the CBCI (Catholic Bishops Conference of India) and founded the Children in Domestic Work movement, The Young Student Movement for Development and the National Forum for Migrant Workers' Rights.

Currently she is the National Co-ordinator of the Domestic Workers Movement which has grown in strength across 21 states in India.
