The prosumer revolution: Becoming masters of our electricity future: John Gorman at TEDxElginSt

John brings to the TEDxElgin stage over 20 years of professional involvement in solar energy and the sustainable infrastructure sector. As President & CEO of the Canadian Solar Industries' Association (CanSIA), John advocates for the fundamental role that solar energy can play in powering a clean future for our planet. His participation on the International Energy Agency's Executive Committee (PVPS) provides John with a global perspective on energy matters. John has served on the board of numerous community and corporate organizations including one of the nation's largest electric utilities. John is the recipient of the "40 Under 40″ business award for excellence in business practices, and a Climate Project Ambassador having completed the training program led by Nobel Laureate Al Gore to spread the message about the challenges of and solutions to the climate crisis.
