Czarina Kaye Francisco studied music education at La Sierra University with an emphasis in vocal performance. An active performer, she is versatile in classical, jazz, and pop styles.
Her passion for music education stems from her belief that children can find joy and confidence through participation in music. She is dedicated to creating opportunities where students can connect to self and community through music.

While Music Director for Riverside Children's Theatre, she was praised for bringing out the "best voices" in the students, and for her enthusiasm and patience when teaching.

Czarina currently teaches elementary music in Los Angeles, CA, and private voice and piano lessons through her personal studio. She also runs an active blog LITTLEUPBEAT, which includes insights into her experiences as a new teacher and documents her creative and often unique approaches to teaching and learning.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
