With more than 50 theatrical productions, including musicals, theatre repertoires and experimental plays under his belt, William Yip has all the know-how when it comes to theatre. He is also the founder and artistic director of Theatre Noir, which is a professional theatre company in Hong Kong that focuses on the development of theatre productions and learning programs for the a wide spectrum of communities in Hong Kong. He has played an integral part in integrating theatre into our society and has been a drama educator, programme developer and consultant at various schools, higher educational institutes, arts organisations and social service organisations. Since 2011, he has collaborated with British Council Hong Kong in co-organising the "Shakespeare: A Worldwide Classroom" in promoting Shakespearean works in Hong Kong schools. At TEDxHKUST, he will be talking about some major failures in his dramatic life.
