The Failures, As a Healing Process: Doowon Yoo at TEDxSNUSuwon

Being a student is not always easy, especially when you are starting a career as an artist. Doowon Yoo is no stranger to the feeling of failure but has found that his failures can teach him more than his success. He brings the audience on a journey of his latest work with sand sculpture and shows the hidden problems and failures that he went through. Even when the audience and his colleagues thought of his work as a success, his constant doubt and high standards pushed him to receiving awards and showing his work in galleries. With a single installation he engages the audience's visual, tactile, and auditorial senses, showing the true convergence of technology, art, and human perception.
