An African wild dog/painted wolf (Lycaon pictus) pack with tiny puppies at their den site. Here the adults had returned with full bellies and started regurgitating meat for the hungry little puppies. This archive footage was filmed way back in 2011 and i have no clue why it was not uploaded back then.
Painted wolf is one of many common names for these animals and is being used more, one reason is that the term "wild dog" brings to mind feral domesticated dogs instead of these unique and rare predators.
Filmed in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa
