During the last days of the life of Hipscar he managed to catch and kill a hyena from the Eastern hyena den. This video is some of the last captured footage of the once magnificent old male lion. Lions and hyenas are often referred to as eternal enemies and the Majingilane coalition were often involved in Lion vs Hyena incidents.
