In South Africa’s east coast, female loggerhead turtles have come to lay their eggs in the same place their ancestors have nested for generations – an incredible journey from start to finish, we see the babies hatch, begin their solitary lives at sea, and do their best to avoid being picked off by predators like ghost crabs. Life for these turtles is merciless from the jump, but if they can make it to the water, they could live up to 80 years!
