A wildlife enthusiast for the past 30 years, Sarath has traveled extensively in India and to about 25 countries in pursuit of wild animals including to both the Poles. He has hands on experience of guiding many prestigious wildlife groups. He loves to trek and has climbed Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa besides extensive trekking in the Himalayas. He is the founder-president of Kabini Foundation, as NGO working with local communities in Kabini area for reducing human pressure on wildlife habitat.


In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
