These cold-blooded iguanas hang out by the water's edge. As the waves wash over them during their morning sunbath, they dive down to the sea floor for breakfast. The smaller and younger iguanas cannot make the journey, so their only chance to feed is when low tide comes, allowing them to pick off weeds. In this piece, we also get introduced to the blue-footed booby.
