Mazda has come a long way in the past couple years trying to prove themselves once again on the racetrack, this time using Skyactiv-D power. The Mazda Skyactiv program is about increasing efficiency through light weight vehicle design and fuel sipping engines, both of which are great carryovers onto the track. At the recent Long Beach Grand Prix, Autobytel Editor-in Chief Michelle Naranjo caught up with Mazda racing's Mike Doonan to talk about how far the team has come in only two short years.
