Is this picture of a man mowing his lawn with a tornado behind him for real? Or is this some kind of fake…

Hey guys Bill here with this weeks, “real or fake Grab bag.”

This one showing up this morning on my Facebook thanks to Michael Sevila who wanted to know the truth.

Micahel.. When I first saw this thing I said… total fake.. I mean look at the Tornado itself. Is that not the most photoshopped looking tornado ever. It even had a long nose which made me want to call it the Jimmy Durante tornato … He was an actor in Hollywood famous for his long nose

I did a little checking around and to my surprise, a reliable news outlet called the Toronto Metro News, was reporting it as REAL!

The picture was taken by Cecilia Wessels of her husband as he was cutting the grass in the Three Hills area in Southern Alberta Canada. The husband did not hear the tornado because of the noise from the lawnmower. Why she decided to take a picture before telling him is not known.

Just to make sure, we did check the weather in that area and confirmed numerous reports of tornadoes taken last Friday when this picture was taken.
