I don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t heard of a tornado before. We all know what those are. Some people even chase them for fun. But how about a tornado made out of fire?
This video, sent in by Nightmare Fredbear, claims to show just that… A firenado!
According to the video’s description, it was a Pilar for Fire, recorded in Australia’s outback…
But is this video for real? Or is somebody just trying to blow smoke up our backdraft?
Going through the video again, I can see that it is professionally made. It isn’t the normal shaky phone footage that I usually get.
This so called “ Pillar of Fire” video was not only HD quality, but it had high fidelity sound as well…
A little google search confirmed there was something called a Fire Whirl - but the description on Wikipedia didn’t match what I was seeing on this video. According to Wikipedia Fire Whirls are not that big and never get to tornado strength… What I was watching in this video was not small and looked more like real Tornandoe!
The more I thought about it, the more I started to think this video might be outtakes from a big Hollywood movie. My research team looked into this and not surprisingly, came up with this.
It’s a movie called “ Into the Storm.” It was a 2014 Film from Warner Brothers that featured a fire breathing tornado that looks a whole lot like our firenado video.
Maybe what we are looking at is the firenado they created in Australia to be used in the movie??? Get my drift?
I then turned my attention to the person who posted the video. It said his name was Chris Tangey and guess what? Mr. Tangey, according to reseacher Homza Andreas, is a professional filmmaker…
Uh huh… and after checking his credits on a movie database called IMBD… we were able to come up with this… the official answer!
To find out what that answer, please watch the video as I have reached my limit for the number of words I can place in the description are of this video!
