Having been a "woman of a certain age", for some time now, Jane Adams is not only well aware of the need to live a full and useful life, but is also confronted with the effects of gravity on a daily basis. One of her biggest fears however, has always been getting to the age of say 85, and having no adventures to look back on. So she has spent her life making sure this doesn't happen. Whether it was climbing through a blizzard to Anapurna Sanctury base camp, with a hand drawn map, and a denim jacket, riding around St. Tropez on the back of a Harley in a bikini, living in a tent on a Cairns beach for 7 months, or becoming a mother - probably the most interesting, challenging and scary adventure of all.

Jane is optimistic, determined and competitive - all qualities which have held her in good stead over the years but which have occasionally been quite challenging for those who have to live with her. Luckily she is married to a wonderful man who spends a lot of time laughing at her - which is probably the best approach.

In this talk, Jane shares a story that sounds like another one of her wild experiences, but it's actually about her sister, an equally passionate and driven woman.
