Usually you just need to add -ed to the end of a verb when changing it to the simple past or present perfect form of the verb: Ask - asked. However, there are many verbs in English where you can’t add -ed to the end and have to remember to do something else. There are over 200 irregular verbs in English, so it may seem overwhelming to try and remember them all. Luckily this lesson will teach you more than 50 irregular verbs in English and give you some tips on how to remember irregular verbs.
Get ready to improve your English with the English vocabulary and grammar in this English lesson. To make it easier for you to remember irregular English verbs, I’ve divided them into four groups of irregular verbs as follows:
1) Irregular Verbs Group One: The verb in the base form, simple past, and past participle are all the same.

Put - put -put
Quit - quit - quit
Lost - lost - lost

2) Irregular Verbs Group Two: The verb in the simple past and past participle are the same, but the base verb is different.

Say - sold - sold
Find - found - found

4) Irregular Verbs Group Four: The base verb, simple past form, and past participle are all different! You must remember a different verb for each verb tense. There are 5 main points connected to group four irregular verbs:
