When you put ‘il’, ‘ir’, ‘im’, or ‘in’ in front of a word, it will make that word negative. For example: if you put ‘in’ before the word correct, you create the word incorrect. Incorrect means not correct, wrong. By studying words with the negative prefixes, il-, ir-, im-, and in- you can easily learn new words and improve your English communication skills!
