The German government has deported a group of refugees back to Afghanistan. It was the 18th flight since 2016, affecting in all almost 400 Afghans in that period. Human rights and aid organizations have decried the German government policy of forcibly returning refugees to Afghanistan, which they say is not safe and therefore a violation of human rights law.
