Today, we’re talking Sports Cars, starting with the jaw dropping Audi R8 Competition. It pays homage to Audi’s LMS race cars, with matte black carbon fiber front and rear spoilers and side slides for added effect, and a whopping 570 horsepower under the hood. This is the first generation R8’s swansong, and it couldn’t have said goodbye any better. Only 60 will be available in the U.S.

Cadillac pulls out all the stops with the addition of the V-series to its ATS lineup. The ATS-V Coupe features a meaty 455 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 under the hood, and dramatic aerodynamic styling and large front grille on the outside. On the inside, it boasts leather-trimmed performance seats and plenty of infotainment gadgets.

We fell in love with the Jaguar F-Type when it first came out, and we’re in love with it even more now that it’s available with AWD, which is standard on the R models. It sits slightly higher than its predecessor, with a revamped hood, new front vents, and body color side sills. The F Type R Coupe owns the road with 550 horses under the hood.

The Shelby GT 350 looks mean and runs mean…and mean is good. With an estimated 500+ horsepower, this is Ford’s most powerful naturally aspirated production engine ever. It pays homage to Carroll Shelby who passed away two years ago and I think it’s safe to say Shelby would be more than proud here. The way it looks, the way it sounds…this is a stunner.

707 Horsepower. Let me repeat that. 707 horsepower. The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is hell on wheels and just plain awesome. The most powerful muscle car on the planet, we couldn’t take our eyes off of it. It starts at $59,995 and the LA Auto Show is the world’s public debut of this scream machine. You won’t wanna miss it.
