Claudia Vale da Silva describes her experience in Copenhagen, Denmark through Higher education traineeship placements, an Erasmus+ programme. Claudia is Portuguese and a former Erasmus+ trainee who currently works as digital content manager. Within the Erasmus+ programme, she did a 5-month long internship in the social media department for the company Velux in Denmark. Her contract was extended to three months as she was assigned to train the Baltic countries. Living abroad and experiencing the Nordic lifestyle completely changed her life. She learnt many new things, developed a new way of working, and time management. Through that experience, she was exposed to conditions and environment favouring the development of both her professional career and her awareness as a person with a global mind-set.​
