Marius Brinkmann describes his experience through Sector Skills Alliances in Bochum, Germany, an Erasmus+ programme. Marius is an industrial mechanic trainee at Thyssen Krupp. During his studies, he did an internship in that company and managed to obtain a similar position after graduation. The Erasmus+ programme allowed Marius to gain experience in the field of steel industry and to travel to other EU member states where he is most likely to end up working. Thanks to Erasmus+, his company is now able to offer an adequate and up-to-date training to its staff in order to face challenges of tomorrow.
