It’s the first day of spring and Australia’s unique creatures have an extra bounce in their step. For many it’s the start of the breeding season and across the country males do their best to attract a mate, from singing and dancing to throwing punches. Freshwater crocodiles snatch their dinner from the air at dusk while Tasmanian devils wait until nightfall to fight over a wallaby carcass.
