Detox Tea Leads to Pregnancy?

One woman tried a 14-day detox tea and was surprised when she became pregnant. She had been on birth control for years, and her doctor determined that the detox tea was likely to blame. Detox teas often contain herbal laxatives, and can cause diarrhea or vomiting. OB/GYN Dr. Nita Landry warns, if you experience either within a couple hours of hours taking your pill your body may not have enough time to absorb the hormones.
