One exceptionally talented graphics designer who also happens to be a dad went all out to make his kids' sandwich bags memorable.
For nearly five years, the proud Massachusetts based papa has illustrated on his children's lunch bags, each day making a different, colorful scene. He has taken photos of almost every single drawn masterpiece, making a collection of about 1,1,00 images.
The custom plastic sandwich bags contain cartoon illustrations, ranging from simple pictures to silly monster faces. According to David, the task only takes him about 5 minutes each morning to draw and color the ziplock bags.
Skulls, hens, pumpkins, snowmen, the American flag, rockets, fish, even cartoon bubbles with phrases are just a few examples of the varying illustrations. (3) The dad states "Each drawing is done just after I make the sandwich. My kids don't see the drawing until it is lunchtime. The challenges are coming up with an idea and then drawing quickly and directly on the bag, every line counts."
