An artist creates intricate drawings on her children's lunch napkins.

Packing a child's lunch is a normal part of the everyday routine for parents. Nina Levy is a mom and artist living in Brooklyn. Specializing in several forms of art, she creates sculptures, outdoor installations and portraits.

But there's another aspect to her artistic talent which she showcases in a project simply called Daily Napkins. The concept is simple, Nina creates drawings every day for her two male children on their napkins.

She says "What started out as a brief maternal indulgence for one child is now a daily project for two. I have been drawing pictures on napkins for my sons' lunch boxes every night for the last six years, approaching over 2,000 napkins so far."

The elaborate cartoon drawings commonly feature superheroes. One of her napkins depicts Teen Titan's Robin sitting on and petting a komodo dragon. Another work is titled 'Dark Pug', which features a small black dog with red, glowing, evil eyes.

What do you think of Nina's artwork?
