Who does more drugs, tennis pros or punk rockers? We brought Anti-Flag and the hilarious Michael Kosta to get the answer to this question and more. A panel of talented guys and good sports, Anti-Flag are in the midst of the Warped tour and Michael Kosta, discusses his shift from pro-tennis to stand-up comedy.
We talk about sports obsessions, superstitions, and the terror of bombing in front of an audience. Enjoy!
GUEST BIO:
Anti-Flag hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and formed in 1988. The band is well known for its left-wing political views, focusing on anti-war activism, imperialism, class struggle, human rights, and various socio-political sentiments. Anti-Flag is known also for their advocacy of progressive political action groups such as Greenpeace and Amnesty International. Most recently, the band has declared solidarity with the global Occupy Together movement. They are performing on the Vans Warped Tour through mid-July.
Michael Kosta is a former professional tennis player turned comedian. He regularly appears on the The Tonight Show, and has had his own stand-up special, "Comedy Central Presents: Michael Kosta." In the fall of 2011 he made his debut on Conan. He was also chosen to host the backstage live show for the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards.
