Ted Steinberg is a Government and American Studies double major at Connecticut College. As a sophomore, he has a passion for influencing his environment as the Vice President of the student body, a representative on the school's judicial board, club baseball co-captain, and member of the student support network. While particularly moved by politics, sports, religion, and comedy, he enjoys good conversation on any topic that sparks intellectual curiosity.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
