Israel and Iraq: A Critique of Democratic Peace Theory

Conor is an International Relations and Arabic Language & Literature Double Major at Connecticut College. In fall 2012, he studied abroad in Rabat, Morocco. That following summer 2013, he researched the war in Syria as an intern at the Institute for the Study of War. At Connecticut College, Conor is Co-President of Amnesty International, a staff writer and photographer for The College Voice, a senior class council member, and the class of 2014 representative for the Student Activities Council. In August of this year, he will travel to Tunisia to work for one year as a librarian at the American Corner library in Tunis.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
