Manaweblife took a detour from Malacca town to a village 2-3 km from Jonker Street to unveil a hot spot that has been around for years. It's a roti stall operated by a Malay lady boss who inherited the business from her father-in-law.This place has been a must-visit when in Malacca it seems. Why? Because of its uniquely appetising roti canai that is charcoal fired on a huge pan. This video captures the scene and the crowd that never ends.
The stall starts at 7am and ends at noon. The queue appears at 8 am. Besides the fluffy and supposedly better tasting roti canai there are many other servings in the menu. Including roti tampal dangdut, which has two fried eggs bouncing on top of the roti canai as if doing a dangdut dance move ! Then there is the nanchos, which is a roti canai  topped with  all kinds of everything and actually looks like a pizza ! Check out the long menu list in the video. You will find noodles, desserts and more… If nothing fancies you then go for the familiar nasi lemak, and surely  it will be satisfying ! Drop into this roti canai hot spot when you are in Malacca and you won't be disappointed for sure !
