British Prime Minister Theresa May is to make a final appeal to lawmakers today to back her unpopular deal to leave the European Union. The deal is expected to be defeated in a vote in parliament tomorrow. In a speech later today, May is due to say MPs have a 'duty' to implement the result of the referendum. She will also say that people's faith in democracy will suffer 'catastrophic harm' if lawmakers fail to support the agreement. Ahead of the parliamentary vote, tensions are already threatening to boil over on the streets of London.
