As we approach the end of another year we are mesmerized by this beautiful short film shot by Wild Step that captures the last moments of this ant's life as it is caught by its predator in this antlion trap. These small craters in the sand are actually traps of an antlion to capture insects that walk in. This poor and had the unfortunate experience to march right into one of these deadly traps.
