US President Trump has managed to force a partial government shutdown. Trump's campaign promise to build a border wall has been thwarted up to now, and with Democrats set to take over the House of Representatives, time to push five billion dollars of proposed spending for the wall through Congress is running out. What are Trump's chances of succeeding, and what does the shutdown mean for government services and the workers who perform them?
