US President Donald Trump spoke from the White House after two mass shootings over the weekend. 29 people were killed within 13 hours on Saturday and Sunday. 20 were gunned down at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas. Nine others were shot dead in Dayton, Ohio. The shooting in Texas is being treated as an act of terrorism. Trump earlier called on lawmakers to tighten gun controls but did not address criticism that his anti-immigrant rhetoric had contributed to the shootings.
