On this episode of AMC Mail Bag (Sunday May 17th 2015) we take the following viewer emails:
Dewayne Edwards writes: Just a theory, but what do you guys think about Black Widow dying in Civil War and Bruce Banner, aka the HULK, finding out and it makes him go ballistic attacking everyone he thinks is to blame? Could this be a potential World War Hulk movie idea?
Sreenath Juttu writes: I’m a fan of the show, and like the objectivity of your reviews a lot. I was recently watching Winter Soldier (again!) and noticed Joe Russo in it (the doctor who helps Black Widow after she’s shot). It was a pleasant surprise. My question is, which director cameo is your favourite? Obviously, Argo doesn’t count!
Jorge Ahumada writes: Why don't they give out oscars for best practical effects? I know for for sure a film like Mad Max Fury Road would win it.
Jeffrey Kennedy writes: Hey guys love staying up to date with you a lot on spidey I'm disappointed that the amazing spider-man 3 will not happen Andrew Garfield was so perfect at spider-man. Why couldn't Sony just continue with the amazing Spider-man films and have some of the other marvel characters/avengers come to the Andrew Garfield's peter parker? thank you and keep up the great work!
Hendrik Johnson writes: I really love your show. I was always wondering why US theaters are not offering seat reservations when pre-ordering movie tickets. In Germany we can order tickets online and pick the desired seat, run fairly late to a screening and have the desired seat waiting for us. I’ve been to US theaters a few times and the "first come-first serve“-mentality always puzzles me. Thanks for your time and keep up the great work.
Ajlal Syed Ali writes: I know Sylvester Stallone is often the punchline to a bunch of jokes, but the one movie of his that I love and I don't think he gets enough recognition for is 1991's 'Oscar". That movie even today holds up. The frenetic pace of the cast and the seemingly endless parade of jokes still makes me laugh. It's been 25 years and me and my brother still make Finucci Brothers references. My question for you guys is whether or not you would be open to a remake or sequel to the original? and your opinion on why old Sly doesn't give comedies more of a chance in his old age? (Gotta be easier on his bones)
Joseph Payne writes: Hey love the show my question is about the Gambit movie is it still coming I haven't heard anything about it. Could you shed some light. Thanks
Matthew Moore writes: Hey Amc crew, just want to say congratulations on phase 3, its rocks. My question is do you think there is a slim chance that there will be a This is the end sequel. Personally it is one of the best comedies I have watched in the past few years and would love for it to be re-visited. Keep doing what you are doing and bring on the filthy.
