On this episode of AMC Mail Bag (Saturday October 18th 2014) we take the following viewer emails:
Daniel MacDonald writes: Hello AMC Movie Talk! Great show! I was wondering if there was a chance of Zoe Saldana being in another Pirates of the Caribbean. She is a rising star in Hollywood because of Star Trek, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar, etc. She is used to Sci-Fi movies and she is already established in the universe. I think it would be a waste of talent if they didn't bring her back. Do you think she will be back? Thanks and be ye filthy!
Gilad Levin writes: Hey guys love the show. After Marvel created an internet- wide hype surrounding the supposed cap 3 title, DC was quick to respond with a film slate throughout 2020. my question is- who won the news week? DC or Marvel? Thanks and bring on the filthy.
Rohan Green writes: Hey AMC, straight up I love your shows. Watch almost every day. But Campea, enough flip flopping. Time to set the record straight. Straight up, are you a Marvel guy or a DC guy? All love brother!
Marianne Simms writes: Greetings AMC! Quick question: On Tuesday you dedicated an entire episode of AMC Movie Talk to the Robert Downey Jr/Captain America 3/Civil War story, but on Wednesday you didn’t dedicate an episode to the huge DC movie line up announcement. Why did Marvel get preferential treatment?
Jaideep Singh Pokharia writes: Hey......AMC just luv the show.....my daily dose of movie happening. Well the other day i was watching The Great Dictator & i wonder that Mr. Chaplin was "THE MAN' back then..with all those silent movies u just have to read the dialogues on screen & u still love it. Well what do you think who have that charm of Charlie Chaplin now days. Keep up the good work & yeah...please bring it on!
Marlon Mohammed writes: Good Day to the cast and crew of my favorite online movie program. I've been a fan of your show for a while now. I'm so glad that your show reaches movie lovers the world over, reinforced by the fact that I'm sending this to you from beautiful Trinidad and Tobago. My question to you is.......what is the one movie that made you decide to pursue a career in the film industry? A film that positively changed your life? Thanks and continue the amazing work that you do. Bless.
Lee DeWald writes: Hello, sons and daughters of AMC. I have been a fan of your program for over a year now, and I listen (yes, that's right, LISTEN) to the podcast every day in my car on my way home from work. My question is this: Do you think we'll ever see a National Treasure 3? I love this franchise, and the first two films earned over $800 million dollars at the worldwide box office. And let's face it -- Nicolas Cage could use a career boost. I don't think anyone's clamoring for a Ghost Rider 3. Thanks, and bring on the filthy.
Hampus Schnee writes: Hey guys, I have something I would really like to hear your opinions about: If harley quinn is in suicide squad (which she has to be!), and suicide squad is in the same universe as batman, do u think they will bring the joker into the universe and how would u feel about that?
