With AVENGERS : AGE OF ULTRON opening in AMC Theatres in just over 6 months, Marvel Studios executive producer Victoria Alonso recently spoke at the Visual Effects Society and claimed that the new film will have over 3000 visual effects shots. To put this in perspective, that is over 250 MORE VFX shots than in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and over 1000 more than in STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE.
