2018 Volvo XC60 Inscription T6 AWD Test Drive Video Review

If you want a stylish, well-optioned, safe vehicle; that is comfortable on road trips, has interesting powertrain options, and is good looking both inside and out: it’s difficult to beat the 2018 Volvo XC60. Volvo has been doing a great job as of late. Their design has evolved to look wonderfully simplistic yet stylish at the same time both inside and out. It all started with the revised XC90, then it transferred to the S90 sedan, and now it has moved on to the all-new 2018 XC60. Basically you take the XC90 styling and you scale it appropriately for the smaller XC60. The signature flat grille looks simple yet stylish and the Thor’s Hammer LED lights may have the best name in the industry.

There are a couple of different trims ranging in price from $41,500 for the base T5 Momentum model up to $48,700 for the T6 Inscription seen here. Under the hood of the T6 model you get a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder that makes 319 horsepower and 295 lf-ft. of torque.

The inside of the 2018 Volvo XC60 is stylish and simplistic. The panoramic roof, digital gauges, and large infotainment screen all add up to make for a nice cabin space. If you are shopping for a mid-size luxury SUV some of the competition includes the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar F-Pace, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and the Acura RDX.
