Road Test Editor Benjamin Hunting recently took a trip out to Texas to test the new Cadillac ATS-V at the Circuit of the Americas race track. This is the latest entry from Cadillac’s V-Series of performance cars. There is a whole list of go-fast gear that sets this car apart from the regular ATS.
Under the hood is a 3.6 liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that makes 464 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Backing that is either a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission. This car will do 60 MPH in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 189 MPH. On the inside you get Recaro seats with inflatable bolsters. Other than that most the interior features are the same.
The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V starts at $61,000 but the price can swell as you add options.
