After the surprise success of Pitch Perfect 2, Universal is moving ahead with a third film and The Hollywood Reporter is saying that Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 writer Kay Cannon is in negotiations to return to write the 3rd film. It is still uncertain who will direct. The first film was directed by Jason Moore and the latest one by actress Elizabeth Banks.
