According to several reports, STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON screenwriter, Jonathan Herman, has been tapped to write the script for the upcoming SCARFACE remake. The new SCARFACE will have a Mexican as the lead character this time around in modern day Los Angeles. Herman’s STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON opens in AMC Theatres on August 14th 2015.
