Brunei introduced strict Islamic laws that make gay sex punishable by flogging or stoning to death, amputation for theft and other strict laws. There's been an international outcry from other countries, rights groups and celebrities.

Having spent the first 16 years of my life in Brunei, it's sad to see where the country is heading and I thought I'd share a little bit about what i was like growing up there and my thoughts about the issue.
