Warning: Distressing Themes. Over the past decade suicide attempts among Black children rose 92%. The increase includes elementary aged children, some as young as 5 — and experts aren’t entirely sure why. We sat down with two mothers to hear their stories and how their sons’ suicides impacted their lives.
