Giant Chocolate Chip Red Velvet Whoopie Pie Recipe:

Whoopie Pie Ingredients:
pam
2 cups AP flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
½ cup buttermilk
1 oz bottle red food coloring
1 bag chocolate chips

Filling Ingredients:
1/2 cup softened butter
1 8 oz package softened cream cheese
2 7 oz jar marshmallow cream
optional: red and pink sprinkles

1. preheat oven to 375* and prepare heart pans
2. in medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt, and set aside
3. in large mixing bowl beat butter. Add in brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Alternately add in flour mixture and buttermilk. Stir in food coloring
4. split batter between two heart pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
5. Transfer to wire rack and let cool
6. meanwhile make filling. In a large bowl beat butter, and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in marshmallow cream.
7. Spread filling on one of the heart layers and top with the other layer. Dip sides in red and pink sprinkles.
