Stack fallacy - is the mistaken belief that it is insignificant for a startup or competitor to build a technology layer above yours.
examples: when you see a database company thinking apps are easy, or when an Auto manufacturer thinks it is easy to develop driverless cars— they are suffering from stack fallacy.
