Leonel David Mendes, nascido no dia 13 de Março de 1988, natural de Matosinhos no distrito do Porto. Licenciado em Artes Plásticas -- Vertente em Multimédia, em 2011. A trabalhar em ilustração na área da publicidade e edição editorial em freelance.

No dia 1 de Abril de 2013 foi condecorado pela BBC por uma ilustração que venceu a categoria de "still image" no concurso "what if: Visions of the future". No seguimento do tema "Visions of the future", a TEDx Lisboa desafiou-o a fazer uma apresentação sobre as sua visão do futuro da educação em Portugal. Neste momento está a trabalhar na área da Realidade Aumentada para smartphones e tablets.
