Újragondolt városok és a Budapesti Állatkert: Kenyeres István at TEDxDanubia 2014

Kenyeres István témájában a 2013-as TEDxDanubia egyik előadója, Bognár Attila gondolatainak folytatását ismerhetjük fel, mely a moden városok fenntarthatóságát járja körül. Amíg a város csak egy apró sziget volt a vidék tengerében, ddig az urbánus lakosság ellátása élelmiszerrel, vízzel és energiával még nem jelentett problémát, ám amióta a városok egymást érik, az óriási fogyasztással járó hulladék, szennyvíz és káros vegyi anyagok feldolgozása már komoly veszélyforrássá vált.
A most bemutatott eljárás az "élőgyár" ötlete, melynek segítségével az elhasznált anyagokat élőlények, elsősorban növények és mikroorganizmusok segítségével forgathatnánk vissza a városi használatba.


The subject of István Kenyeres follows the pholosophy of a previous TEDxDanubia speaker, Attila Bognár, speaking about the sustainability of cities. As long as the urban environment is a lonely island on the ocean of countries and fields, attending cities with water, food and energy is relatively easy. But today cities grow too fast, and they throw-outs as well, which cannot be treated efficiently anymore.
With the idea of "bioproduction" is a way of solution for this problem. It uses different living organisms to recycle wastewater, organic waste and chemicalst to the urban operation.


In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
