The New York Times reported Rosenstein floated the idea of wearing a wire to record Trump and invoking the 25th amendment to remove him from office. Some believe Trump may fire Rosenstein just to change the news coverage around the Kavanaugh Testimony, and Rosenstein, from a career standpoint, seems to already be hedging his bets.
