Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a popular dude. Central to multiple world religions, and with visual representations recognizable at a glance to billions around the world, one might think that Jesus was one of the best-understood figures from history. In fact, this is not the case. Differences of historic opinion relate to Jesus' appearance, his behavior during life, his sayings, his occupation prior to his time as a religious leader, and even his name! Many of these details have been lost in translation, due to the facts that few, if any, primary documents exist from the time when the man was alive.
