The Amish are a growing religious people group, primarily located in America's Rust Belt. Known largely for their belief in lifestyle simplicity and the way they refrain from using many technologies during daily living, the Amish are nonetheless not always well understood outside of their communities. Though the speak Pennsylvania Dutch in the home, the Amish are not an ethnic group. And though they might not use electricity in the home, they might just as well use cell phones when out on business. There are many other interesting ways that Amish folks depart from the stereotypes. These are thing you get wrong about the Amish.
