The Terrifying Nature of the Cartoonishly Angry Tasmanian Devil | Wild 24 103

The island of Tasmania is home to some rare and unique creatures, namely its most famous resident: the Tasmanian Devil. These ferocious marsupials, the size of a small dog, live in burrows, producing screams and growls that inspired its name. The forests are also home to other rare marsupials, including the carnivorous quoll rarely seen on mainland Australia. In its coastal waters are even weirder and unique animals, including the leafy and weedy seadragons which have evolved exotic camouflage to blend in with the giant kelp forests that thrive in these cold waters. This is Wild 24: Australia’s Tasmania Forest.
